After graduating from business college in Montreal, Mary's business career spanned book production, and working in the buying office for a major Canadian retail store before she moved into hospitality and then property management. Whilst the industries were varied, her work and interest focused consistently on working with people to solve problems responsively and creatively.
Mary and her husband raised their family in Montreal, and with their children now adults, they moved to Nova Scotia in 2006 where her skills and business experience naturally led to an interest in real estate. She has found that here in Nova Scotia she can bring her love of this beautiful province and her joy in going the extra mile to help both buyers and sellers of real estate attain their goals.
Whilst in Montreal, Mary had a downsizing business providing advice, logistical support and relocation guidance for those who have reached that point in their life where their current living arrangement is either too large or no longer suitable for them. She continues to offer this valuable service as an ideal complementary adjunct to her real estate practice, assisting clients in all the aspects of downsizing their lives including finding the perfect new home.
Throughout her life Mary has taken up many voluntary fundraising and Board positions and she has continued this commitment to volunteering in Nova Scotia with roles on the Lunenburg Folk Harbour Society Board among others.
Mary is fluently bilingual in French.
