Originally from rural Newfoundland, Alicia Cooper moved to the Valley area in 2002 immediately after finishing her first degree. She completed her Masters in Agriculture from Dalhousie University in 2011. Alicia brings a broad skill set and a practical attitude. An enthusiastic asset to her rural community, she currently sits as the secretary of the Hants Shore Chapter of the Womens Institute of NS and on the Board of Directors for the Hants Shore Health Association and is an active member of the NSIA. Alicia and her husband labour happily with their own farm, and are enthusiastically sharing their love of rural life. Always grateful for the wonderful connections to be made, Alicia is happy to give back by helping others find that right fit for them. Never one to be shy at getting her hands, or boots dirty, Alicia can be found on her family farm in rural Hants County. Moving to a rural area and finding that right fit is something that takes some guidance from one knowledgeable of the area and all the lifestyle has to offer.
